Statement of Faith Forewords All those actively participating and/or involved in our ongoing mission to present the gospel of Jesus Christ to those influenced by the Hip-Hop Culture and our efforts to restore our communities are in unison and live according to the following Article of Faith. Article I The Holy and Divinely inspired Word of God is comprised of sixty-six book which are the final authority in matters of faith and conduct. Article II In the Holy Scriptures GOD reveals Himself as the only living true GOD in all of creation, the author of life defining love and perfection with his triune nature of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Article III God created mankind in His image to fellowship but man's disobedience separated us from our divine relationship with our Heavenly Father. Sinful Man is incapable of a divine relationship with God without His divine Grace. Article IV The only Mediator between God and man is Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior, God's eternal Son, who as man on Earth fully shared and fulfilled our humanity in a life of perfect obedience. Article V By His death on a cross in our place, Jesus Christ revealed divine love and upheld divine justice. Rising from the dead and ascending into the heavens He removed our sins and reconciled us to God. Having risen bodily, He rules as Lord over all creation and intercedes for us as our Great High Priest. Article VI Through the proclamation of the Gospel the Holy Spirit restores our hearts, convincing us to repent of our sins and confess Jesus Christ as Lord. Article VII By His Word and Spirit, God calls sinful men, redeemed by His grace, into the fellowship of Christ's body. United in the bonds of love, able with the gifts of the Spirit and called by Christ we are to preach the message of reconciliation. Article VIII God's redemptive purpose will be fulfilled by the return of Christ to raise the dead, judge mankind and establish His glorious kingdom. Those who are apart from Christ shall be eternally separated from God's presence, but the righteous shall live and reign with Him forever. |
